Hi, Chris-

Here's what my 1984 Vanagon Owner's Manual Indicates:

Front and rear side marker lights: *Trade No. 1816 *U.S. VW Part No. ZAP 118816

Rear turn signal: *Trade No. 1073 *U.S. VW Part No. ZVP 118073

Stop/tail lights: *Trade No. 1034 *U.S. VW Part No. ZVP 118034

Back-up lights: *Trade No. 1073 *U.S. VW Part No. ZVP 118073

I think that the "Trade No." refers to a generic numbering scheme (that seems to be what I've seen at FLAPS - regardless of actual brand).

Hope this helps,

Hi Volks,

If someone has a handy reference, could they send me the part number and brand for a Vanagon driver's side tail light? (Not the brake light).

I want to go to the FLAPS/KMart armed with info.

Thanks, Chris Wyatt '87 Syncro GL Fairbanks, Alaska '74 THING, Yaupon Beach, North Carolina
