That tool is still commonly available in the aftermarket, about $20.  The
wedge type OEM tool is scary IMHO.  Regardless this is a horrible power
robbing manifold anyway round and should not be considered for conversion or
any use.  First thing to be thrown away in any '81-'88? FWD VW looking for
about 10 more honest hp.
