how do those compare to the KYB's?? TonyD Bill Urban wrote: > Hello all, > > About the shocks, if you aren't dead set on the KYB's Sears has their * Roadhandler (Gabriel) gas shocks priced at $22.

I wouldn't do the Garbles.

The KYB's through Bus Deep-Oh! are only a couple of bucks more per shock. The KYB's (to me) give a predictable, high level of quality, and great ride.

Last year, thinking momentarily like the recovering cheapskate that I am, we put Garbels (Gas Charged, courtesy JCWhitney) on our 1976 bus. One of the rear one's decided to loose it's effectiveness after less than 5k. We were five hours South of the border in Mexico. I'm sure the deep ditch we jumped didn't help... but.

The KYB's which replace the Garbles, were stellar, heartily handling healthfully heaping helpings of hellacious hullabaloo.
