After reading many posts about the idle stabs, I had to check mine, it is light grey/ivory white, p/n 251 906 083A, the wires weren't even connected to the unit, but to themselves, I've owned the van for 5 months now, and haven't even had any clue that it wasn't connected. I connected the wires to the unit, and the idle stayed on a calm 1000 rpm, instead of earlier, when it bounced between 800 and 900 rpm with 1 seconds interval. The engine is the 2,1 112hp Euro model, engine code DJ, no kinds of exhaust cleaning. The car is a 1988 Syncro. I guess I will have to try it connected for some days, so I can tell whether the unit is ok when the engine gets hot.

Bye, PerL
