No you don't.

I'm not trying to be ornery, or boastful, but you DON'T have to remove
ANYTHING to clean these mechanisms completely. All you need is some Simple
Green and a good pressure washer. It does require:

allowing ample time for the simple green to dissolve the grease, may take a
second application
aiming the nozzle at some odd angles,
moving  the nozzle SLOWLY over the entire track
moving the door back and forth across the track while you are blasting
paying careful attention to thoroughly blast the rear latch/slider and
bottom slider from all angles.

I just did this on Monday, and can tell you plainly, there wasn't a lick of
crud to be found anywhere around that door mechanism. It works great and
only takes a few minutes. Don't disassemble your door slider, go camping
instead.
