Speaking of steering.....


I have had a bit too much play in the steering in the Syncro lately.  Found
out that the u-joint at the steering rack has started to go.  Anyone had this
happen?  Any way to repair it?  I don't remember having read anything about
this in the past.  Doesn't mean I didn't read it, I just don't remember.  No
shock on that one!


Just got a quote of $120 for the oart from Burnsville (MN) VW which, after the
club discount, would make it $108 plus tax.  Anyone got one for less?
