I have a possible line on purchasing an 88 Westy.

From lurking in the group, it seems the "first few years" of water cooled
engines were prone to problems in the cooling systems.

Can anyone offer a quick summary on a.) what are the specific questions I
need to ask to determine if the problem has been addressed, and b.) from
which model year (if any) can I forget about the big cooling system
problems?
