Syncronauts and wannabees,

Hi from the Finger Lakes where the trees are just beautiful!

I just spent some time this Sunday cutting the facia board off the trim around my garage to get my 1989 Syncro Westy in for the winter. The van fits in with about two inches to spare. My garage door is now at 85 inches.

Likewise I park the van in an underground parking at work and the height limit there is 7' with a big bar set there to stop you before going in. My van clears that without a problem.

Now the previous owner put Goodyear P205/70 14 tires on this van - they are not the correct tire and I know it. but when I compared my spare tire - the original Michelin MXL 205/70 14 Reinforced it is about 2 inches bigger. I hope that my van will still fit everywhere when I trash the Goodyears and mount new MXTs.

It is robery - Ask for a kiss with that!

I looked for over 3 years for mine. Keep looking. I have a pretty cherry 1989 Syncro Westy GL with all power and 92K miles which I purchased for UNDER $US 10,000!

Cheers,

Joel C.
