Hello, Recently I put in a request for info on an oil pressure light problem. Listees suggested looking at type of oil, filter, the pressrue switches, and the cooling system. Since my 88 water cooled runs a weee bit toasty I thought I would start there. I already knew the resistor for the first stage was blown soooo. My question is, people, past folks in the archives, have talked about changing to an 80 degree thermostat to activate the fan. I would like to do this but where. I have a bentley and I see the thermo switches for the fan but don't know where they are located or if they are what I'm looking for. I thought there was/is a thermostat on the radiator somewhere, bentley makes it look like one is near the bleeder screw. I seem to be all confused between radiator thermoswitches, new thermostat, and temperature sensor, can anyone clearify these for me. Then benltley gets into all the relays and such, and man, do i get all twisted. any info on the operating sequence of this cooling sytem would be appreciated or...........I'm going to have to $$$ for something that is probably a simple fix. Hey I know how to bleed the system though.....that's last again!! thanks jon 88
