Thanks for replying. I guess you can tell that I am new to this end of the mechanics realm. As I am not fully understanding how this works, I chose to write into the list. The guy I talked to who told me that the standards would be ok was at the Bus Depot. It's not that I don't trust them (they've always been good with advice in the past), but I don't want to be taking the engine apart again. You are probably right in the standard 0.010" that was taken off. What would be the consequences of putting the standards on? Low oil pressure? Wobbling or more serious damage?

If nothing else was ground should I go with the .010", std, std size? I was also told that the numbers on my old bearings were not listed. Does any one out there have these listed?

These are the numbers I have: (German made and original) ---------------------------------------- Main bearings: 025561B, 025531C, 025501D Rod bearings: 113 105 701

What is my next step?

Thanks
