Subject: junk yards?

Can anybody recommend some junk yards with lots of late model VW's. I checked the suggested vendors list and all seem to be mostly new parts. Currently searching for a grille for a '96 passat. Some idiot stole the VW emblem if you can believe it (who in the world would want a cheap, plastic, made in mexico VW emblem. One of those old, metal, split window style emblems maybe, but this one?...I don't get it) Anyway, the thief also took the emblem-to-grille adaptor which VW only sells as part of the grille ($$$) I'll will appreciate any tips, even just for future reference.

Also, concerning my post last week about a click/clunk/crunch when turning the steering wheel. I was able to isolate the noise to the steering relay gear as I suspected. I could actually feel the clunk as my wife turned the wheel back and forth. The output shaft going to the steering box was caked with dirt and oil. I think the seal must have gone bad and let the oil leak out of the steering relay gearbox. Maybe the bearing just wore over time. Is this a somewhat common failure or am I just unlucky ('85 GL, 114K) Mark
