I have used the Yokohama Superdigger 5 tires 195/75 14 for about 4000kms now on my Syncro. I am very impressed with their grip in wet and off road conditions. They do not slide easily and if they do, they are benign in their handling. The tread has good self cleaning capbilities on gravel. On dry roads they have good handling with adequate sidewall strength. They are a bit noisier than regular all season and highway tires. I have no experience in snow yet. I suspect that they are very good in snow and not quite so good on ice. I cannot give any information about durability yet. If you are mainly on highways I would still recommend the Michelin LTX or something similar. However I am positively impressed with the Superdigger so far.
