-------------------------- Hi Aaron, Follow the bentley bible and keep in mind what you are after is to finding the point that the push rod is just starting to get tight and loose its end play. If the lifters are not pumped and full of oil, the force of the lifters on the push rod at this point can be slight. So be sure you are not compressing the lifter. The following is from memory and the bentley is away with my westy for the weekend so please verify, then tighten 2 rounds beyond this point. With the timing mark on the pulley at the case split and the ignition rotor pointing to the #1 mark adjust #1. Then turn the crank shaft 180 degrees cw adjust #4, turn cw and align the mark with split again for #3, then turn crank cw 180 degrees and adjust #2. The first mark on the crank when turning cw is 5 degree before tdc the second the tdc mark. Best of luck with your quest. Darrell
