Subject: dare I say: rancho RS5000 shocks and taller springs?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Has anyone ever tried rancho's adjustable shocks? In my previous life I was a 4Runner owner and had a set of these. I found them quite good, I could adjust the stiffness in an amazing range depending on driving conditions...

Would taller springs require changes to the axles? Not that I ever would, but I saw an article on a Defender 90 that involved adding 2 inches to the ride height. The author said that they could go that high without have to worry about the axles and shaft stress.

Just some thoughts for a slow Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for your time. Robyn
