Mike,
I think that would be like the time I had to tow a '76 Lincoln Town Car
with a '76 Mercury Comet. It was an unavoidable situation, and I would
NOT recommend it. The Lincoln, being so much heavier, kept trying to
push the Comet aside and forge on alone everytime the brake pedal was
touched. Better you should tow the Jetta with the Vanagon.
