May I ask what you are using for mobility now? Have you looked into having
it altered to fit your mobility needs? I am using a 1991 Vanagon GL
(granted a different beast) that has a ricon (make sure you find an all
steel construction one, the others don't last) lift and the seat turns
around...fits my needs, you can get em set up to have the seat pulled so
you can pull  up in your chair too. A friend of mine just got a similar
setup but with chin controls to be able to drive it.
