Subject: Factory New VW Diesel Motors

This post is primarily for our Diesel Vanagon group. Well I am selling factory new VW diesel longblocks and I just thought you folks might want to know about it. I have 1.6l diesels with the solid lifters for $1700, and 1.6l with hydraulic lifters for $1900. Also have some of the new 1.9l longblocks that are made for and TD VWs. These go for $1600. Also I have some of these 1.9l longblocks (hydraulic heads) that have been setup so that you can bolt on the 1.6l intake and exhaust (allowing you to put one of these newer higher hp motors into an A1 or A2 vehicle [Jetta/Golf] or into your Vanagon!). These sell for $1900. These motors are true TD motors and have the oil squirters under the pistons so that the pistons get the extra cooling they need. However they will also work without the turbo. The numbers on these motors are: 1.6l - 52 hp 71 ftlbs torque 1.9l - 64 hp 92 ftlbs torque (non-turboized version numbers. If you added a turbo the numbers would be higher of course). The extra 21 ftlbs of torque is the real plus for the Vanagon! All of these motors are longblocks which means they come complete from oil pan to valve cover (no accessories or manifolds) and the 1.9l with the 1.6l intake ports also comes with an installation kit (timing belt, timing pulleys, oil filter flange, and dipstick). These motors are factory new and come with a 6 month 6,000 mile warranty. If you are interested in a motor please let me know which one and give me your mailing address so I can give you a price that includes shipping. Thanks and I hope I can help some of you folks out.
