I'd seen this awning on vanagon.com but hadn't followed up because of the

mentioned $495 cost. When I saw Malcolm Stebbins' post, I thought this was a REALLY good deal:

...snip.... the price in CDN$ is 395. At about 1.5 to 1 that makes the price in USDs about USD$265. It is a really cute awning, and for that price in USDs, it is quite reasonable.......

When I called, though, the price quoted in US dollars was $350, plus about $20 shipping to the US, depending on destination. May still be a good deal, but not nearly as good as to his Canadian customers. The guy is in

Vancouver, appears to be a one-man operation. Colors available include blue, dark blue, burgundy, green, and peach. Still debating about whether to order one-looks really neat.
