Re: Door Gasket Sealing Applying wide (2" is good) clean masking tape to a metal surface side, and some slow drying colorant, like artist's paint, to the sealing edges of the gasket, and then closing the door, you may, after reopening the door, see likely trouble spots by reading the transferred marks of colorant onto the previously unmarked masking tape. In some cases, you may actually see a gap in the transferred "foot print" of the gasket onto the tape. After performing what ever dimensional alterations you believe will correct this breach, replace the marked tape with new clean tape, refresh the colorant, and retest.

An air tube run into a rubber force cup large enough to cover an ear can allow a passenger to hear where wind leak sounds are originating. It's a good idea to plug the other ear. Of course a par of air tube headphones would work even better.
