I recently saw a Tule rack on the rear door of a Westy. This was set-up for bikes (The owner said he could get five bikes on, and lift it with just two.) It had one Tule bar attached across the top of the door with the forks mounted on the bar. The rear wheel of the bikes rested on the bumper (I imagine you can just bungie them down). The rack was attached with mounts for a gutterless. For Taurus that someone gave him. If all you want is to mount bikes, this seems like a great system to use, but I think other bar type systems can be used in addition to Tule if you can find the right mounts.
