Jim,

On my 85 GL, about a year ago I put on BFG Dueler APT's Lt 19575R14. They are M & S rated. They handled decently when I went up to Diamond Lake and Crater Lake this past winter except when I hit that ice patch. (that was my fault) I've heard thru the list thta because of the disproportionate weight between front and back that GL's don't handle as well as Syncros in winter conditions. Unfortunately, since I've never owned or driven a Syncro, I am not qualified to comment on this observation. BTW, sorry I didn't get a chance to get up to the Crandalls to meet you and Lisa. Anyone else have some thoughts on Jim's quest? George Bosch
