Hi Robert. Thanks for the input. I have not yet lost confidence in this shop. Although syncro vans are not their specialty, they have been successful with of them. They are specialist in BMW drive shafts, which I know are different, but far more complicated than syncro vans. I also don't have a lot of choice short of purchasing a new shaft from VW. There are only a couple of driveline shops in Vancouver. All our Victoria shops send them to Vancouver. R.Feuerriegel 88 syncro
