Am I learning that these speedometers can be recalibrated internally? I've changed the little plastic drive gears in various non-VW vehicle transmissions, but this is the first reference I recall that appears to indicate that maybe the speedometers can be recalibrated internally. I've thought about having my eyeballs recalibrated, but that's different. If this is possible, has anyone ever done it or know how to do it? If so, please tell us how. Very interesting. John |
