Hi, Blizzaks claim is that after they were out the nice sticky top layer, 25K miles someone said (say 3 winters) they are as good as any all seasons tire.... another tire I saw that looked good was GoodYear Wrangler AT in M&S tread. Good aggressive tread, friend has had a set on his Syncro Westy for 2 winters and drives a hell of a lot, no probs so far. Sorry, can't remember size/rating, pretty sure they are C rated. I'd done 3 winters using Yoko Y370s that are on year round. Not enough tread to keep me happy in snow now, plenty left for other 3 seasons. Probably <40K miles. They weren't M&S to begin with!! Also have a pair of Goodyear Eagles in 205/70/14 M&S which did fine too, limited use though. They are 4 plies, had them on the 2WD crewcab. BFG-MudTerrains sucked in hardpack last winter, too little actual tread in contact with road, and no siping. bye, Tim |
