I was in the welding store today and there's a notice on the counter that starting (now? soon?) all new propane tanks btw 4 and 40 lb capacity must be fitted with float-type automatic shutoffs -- *And starting in 2002 any tank not so fitted may not be refilled!!* Our Westy tanks hold 10 lb. I asked the counter man whether this referred to ASME tanks (our kind) as well as DOT tanks (BBQ kind) and he said yes. Errrrkkkkk!
