Hi John,

You need to remove the metal strip along the edge of the sliding door that holds your carpeting down and peel back the carpeting from front to back. It should split underneath the seat ,( the carpet ), and take out the padding , you'll see what I mean when you do the carpet thing. Then you slide the seat out. It's on rails , quite overengineered and safe.
