Jumped to the list to quick.

Found the secret. Got the seat out. A bit of a pain. Not so convenient as newer vehicles with their quicklock removal systems. The seat has tracks, and after taking out the four bolts that lock it in place on the tracks, the seat can be removed by pulling the assembly toward the sliding door.

BUT, you have to remove the carpet toward the sliding door, take up the carpet trim strip at the door, remove a piece of sound deading and insulation material that covers a senter section of the floor and goes up under the seat.

THEN, the seat can be pulled off the tracks. What a pain. No wonder so many of this model run around with the seat left out permanently.

Not convenient to R & R at all.
