David, just thought you might find this interesting.... the local VW dealer in my area (central Ontario) does this.....disconnects a hose then pumps & flushes running the motor, while pumping, fills the system with an acid wash (this removes all lose aluminum particles and makes the pH properly balanced for correct electrical conduction) pumps this acid wash around all the system, then flushes again, and fills with distilled water and autobahn antifreeze (2 jugs)... then jacks the front and then the back up and down a few times as he bleeds the system of any air... charges $130 CDN= $85 US ... for the whole thing... juice & labour... It's good for 2 years before the pH gets to acidic.. Have fun Rob 87 Westy SyncroGL.....Cynosure
