This was a real nice list, but have you forgotten about the Beastie Boys already??? If I remember it right, their fans was the prime reason of missing emblems back in the late 80's. Btw, if you wanna pop the hood of a Golf or Jetta, just pop out the emblem, put your fingers in and pull the cable, and the hood is open. Or make a cover plate, to be safe, but remember to put in a new cable first, as you cant use this trick if the cable breaks, after you put that plate in.
