No one has EVER suggested that the "spelling hall of shame" was anything other than Friday Fun!!

However, that being said, it would behoove us all to spell things correctly as it makes searching our valuable archives somewhat useful.

I'll give you an example: try searching on "guage" vs. "gauge" in the archives -- if this were an important keyword for your search, fully half of the valuable information would be essentially lost when one does such a search. This is not an isolated case either. Think of "Synchro", "Westphalia", etc. -- it is actually rather sad that this archive is being slowly poisoned by such simple and innocent word usage.

So you can't have it both ways -- we want this list to be informational (the archive) but we also want to be lazy (or ignorant) enough that our own posts are unretrievable in the future!

That being said, I intend on continuing the post, only the <bold>gestapo whiners</bold> have convinced me that once a month is enuf!
