Volks-

Other than references like the Kelley Blue Book or the NADA book, is there some (better) database of current actual selling prices for VW Buses & Vanagons?

If no such database exists, could we start one? Perhaps here?

I'm seriously considering selling my '84 Westy, but I have no idea of what price to ask. I don't want to be one of those jerks who prices it WAY too high, hoping that someone MIGHT be dumb enough... However, I don't want to give it away, either.

I'd like to advertise it at the "fair" price (okay, okay...flame away, I'm ready and I know that this is impossible to establish), and skip all that dickering bulls***. Interesting concept, huh?

I think that I'm going to "ask" the KBB.com price, and indicate that the price is firm (again, unless there is some problem discovered during inspection).
