Subject: getting paint off LP tank?
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

howdy,

I just removed the LP tank from the westy and want to clean it up and repaint it before winter gets here.

What's the best way to get that white paint off? I obviously don't have access to a sand blaster or glass bead'r; and I don't want to chew up the fittings?

Will a chemical type paint remover work, or will that destroy the metal too?

Any info will be greatly appreciated.
