I think a database of the FINAL selling/purchasing prices for our Vanagons would be quite valuable (since we already have many classifieds sites on the web to get an idea of ASKING price).

This would serve two purposes for those of us on the list.

1. We could determine how much (+/-) to ask or expect when we buy/sell our Vanagons 2. In the advent of wreck/bus fire/etc., we would have an available database for more reliable prices than KBB.

The caveat is that some people are reluctant to post prices they paid for their vans (if they want to sell later). For example, suppose buyer x gets an awesome deal on a van and later decides to sell. If people know his actual purchasing price, they might scoff at a higher asking price.
