The local junk yard (recycler) has 2 sets (4x2=8) of 86 Audi 5000 15" aluminum wheels... My question is... will these fit (with a little grinding) on my 87 Syncro Westy? is the off-set positive (giving a wider stance)? and then do they look good "as is" or do they need some nice covers or a custom Paint job? are used Benz wheels better (looking & running) for the money? Remember I'm in rural Canada and drive on some unusual and sometimes rocky/ruff logging roads. Soft metal bends easily.. will these? thanks Rob 87 Westy SyncroGL.....Cynosure (slip&drip)

P.S. Sure will miss the Wild e. Coyote....sure has been good at his job....I guess a good NT person is worth their weight in Syncro's...(lets see 175lbs equals maybe, 4 wheels & a nose bra + a few extra bud vases...Humm... might be more like, worth their weight in Syncro DVM certificates:^)
