        Through the careful use of applied stupidity 101  I severely damaged
my  pop top and had to remove it.  While it was lying upside down on saw
horses recovering from its traumatic shock, I carefully washed the inside
with pure bleach.  Bleach removes mildew stains.  This could be done by
putting the top up, removing the upper mattress to give yourself more room,
and wiping the inside with bleach.  Wear a gas mask and FULL face shield.
Protect your neck and use rubber gloves outside your sleeves.

Any tent or vehicle uphostery shop sells these.  I carry spares in the van
because if I put them in my shop I'll never find them when I want them!
