(wipe dipstick and smell your rag) > If it is really strong smelling, then it is most likely your fuel pressure regulator. Along with the new fuel filter 2 weeks ago, also had the regulator checked and the gauged showed the correct psi. Its not to say that it could not be an intermittent problem. > Check your vacuum line to see > that it is not cracked or off.
