The tanks from Brazil will NOT work on Northern Hemisphere vans due to the Coriolas effect. The inlets and outlets are reversed to compensate for the swirling motion produced as the fuel leaves the tank. South Africans and Aussies know this, as many have tried and failed when switching fluid-related parts from Northern Hemisphere suppliers. Happy Friday

I'd be concerned that the one from Brazil would cause the gas to circulate in the wrong direction as it exits at the supply port to the engine and it might cause serious disruption to the injection system <BG> isn't this why South African Vanagons have different parts? - Couldn't be different government regulations, could it?
