A little more power across the band and one customer reported a 3 mile per gallon increase. Of course, this depends on what condition your engine is in, driving conditions, etc. And you can't beat the price.

Spoke to Betty at S&S today. They just recently picked up new machinery that will handle the bending of stainless steel tubing and the Wasser headers are the first thing they will be doing once everything's up and running (about 30-60 days from now). She couldn't give me prices of what the stainless systems will be going for, as they are in the middle of obtaining quotations on materials. Although it's been mentioned on the list that Stebro (in Canada) is preparing to make Wasser header systems, AFAIK, the only thing available right now is the stainless steel muffler they currently offer for 83.5-91 models. If memory serves (search the archives), Stebro's been saying for about 3 years that a stainless steel header system is coming out soon, so I quit holding my breath for that one.

I'm putting my money on S&S to beat them to the punch and at a better price. I've used S&S for over 18 years on my Vee-Dubs and am a very satisfied customer of their products. YMMV though.
