Subject: Hose Wose (woes)

Noted the hose talk about what I suspect is that 4" coupler that has two different diameters. I had one of these get soft and the lokel yokel VW guy said "$40". I taped mine and went looking. In Tuscon AZ a local family owned shop looked it up for me. (Little Germany is the company) and pointed me to the local Tuscon VW/Honda/Buick/Hotpoint/John Deere dealer, actually some fine folks. Their name begins with a B but I cant' recall the spelling. They're on Speedway Drive. These folks had the hose at ~11$US. They do mail order.

Try calling Little Germany in Tuscon AZ and have their excellent folk look up the part and order 2.

It's appalling how much the VW Droids expect to be able to gouge the average loyal customer on parts. Of course it would be easier to contact Kyle, Ron, or others on the wire. I try Kyle first, he's closer.

Happy hosing....
