I've never used one either. Done this rebuild twice. The first time it was a headache, the second, several years later, went easy. The cost for the rebuild kit was around 15.00 bucks or so.

I have been told that you should replace both cylinders whenever you do one though, something about the new gaskets wearing out the older ones...
