John, then, since you have "experience", just how would inverting a Westfalia refrigerator "damage" it??? I once had to transport a "normal" refrigerator on its side in my old '62 Kombi and was advised, simply, to set it upright and wait overnight to allow the oil to drop back to those places it feels most comfortable residing before powering it up.
