I'm getting ready to flush the coolant on my (new to me) '85 Westy GL. The PO left green (prob. regular phos.) coolant in the tank. The van has 62k orig. on the engine. I'm going to go ahead and put phos. free coolant in it, but has the damage already been done? Am I doing any good by putting phos. free in it now? Should I reasonably expect to do a head replacement in the near future? Thanks for all your info! Patrick Radford VA '85 Westy GL Vicki '86 Toyota Van LE (For Sale) |
