This makes me wonder ~~ What is the most miles any Westy motor has gone before scraping or being pulled for rebuild? For rebuilt motors, count from milage when it was rebuilt. That puts all original motors and rebuilds on an equal basis. If you report about a candidate, please say if it was air cooled, water cooled gasser or diesel. With the wealth of VW experience among the List, this should be interesting. John |
