Ok...I've gotten ready to put back the 87GL engine that I have rebuilt. Notice today that the Bentley (OUR BIBLE...) says, "alway replace" on the connecting rod nuts. Does everybody do this? Are these nuts a standard size, type? I don't notice anything special about...ie... as in the seals in the oil pump nuts (which I am replacing). What's up with these and will I live to regret it if I don't replace them???? Thanks in advance folks! |
