Top on headlight is TOP. Should fit in exactly the same way the sealed beams did. The way I adjust Euro lights is to find a level area adjacent to a commercial building (like a grocery store), back up about 30 ft. Measure the height of the headlamp to the center, then measure at the wall...light should shine approximately 1" lower. As for the angle that goes in an angle up, the left lamp should be 1" to the right and the right lamp should point straight ahead. I also install these lamp on my fathers 81 and they work wonderful (despite the incorrect belief in this country that you'll blind people...never had a problem....even tried driving towards the van oncoming with another car...no problem at all). Try this and see what happens.
