I've got an '85 Westy which I put Sears Trailhandler light truck tires on.
This is one of the few tires which is rated to handle 48 pound pressures
(it's marked on the sidewall). They originally put on a version by mistake
that wasn't the light truck version, so watch out. It felt really squishy
and squirrelly going around corners - not a stiff enough side wall. I had
one guy try to tell me I shouldn't put that kind of tire on because "my van
wasn't a light truck"! The 48 and 40 settings have worked really good for me
and given good tire wear and performance.
