I have been paying close attention to this string, especially since I posted my own tranny problem a couple days ago (locker in 2wd 85 GL).  Todd hill responded to another post, but I think it applies to my post.  In it he talked about this one pin stretching, and then breaking.  He also mentioned modifying the fork.  I was thinking that it was this problem that is developing in my tranny.  My question is how difficult is it to replace that pin, and what modifications to the arm should be done.  I do have a bit of wrench turning experience, and I am also strapped for cash, so anything that I can do without hiring it out, I will do without hiring it out.  TIA
