Jumping in here... I have a 91 Carat as well (Burgundy even...<G>). There are two trays, one each between the front seats and the rear-facing jump seats. On the back frame of the jump seat there are two posts that the tray spring clips clamp over. The front edge of each tray sits on top of the battery compartment hinge area. These trays fill the whole area between the seats (when the fronts are full to the rear) and have a 1 1/2" high edge to contain the contents on those "up on two wheels" turns.
