It sounds like you have a slow leak somewhere in the hydraulic system. When you go to bleed the slave cylinder, are you noticing that the fluid level in the fluid reservoir is lower than the last time you did this job?

The most likely points of fluid leak are the master and slave cylinders themselves. If you've been noticing that the carpet under your feet is a little damp and have been blaming it on the wet weather, than it's your master cylinder that's leaking.

Check it out and you're almost sure to find one or the other cylinders is the culprit. Might as replace or repair both of them at the same time since they seem to go bad more or less simultaneously.
