I spoke with Detlev, and he says that the engine sticks above the deck by 3cm (or about 1 1/8"). Needless to say, this results in at least 1 1/2" decklid increase and for those with Westies, would neccessitate "cutting out" a piece of your mattress. Hmmm...

Now, perhaps that ain't so bad, but...
